Eagle-Eyed Translations
Hello, I’m Emily, a British-born German-speaking translator and editor, and a keen advocate of clear and precise communication. I founded Eagle-Eyed Translations with the aim of not only making highly specialised German financial content available to English-speaking audiences, but also making the complicated world of finance and business accessible to non-expert customers. That’s why I work with a talented, highly qualified team of linguists who know their stuff.
Gone are the days when understanding complicated financial speak was reserved for those in the industry. In today’s international and digitalised world, transparency is key – both in terms of enhancing credibility and winning new customers. And so, Eagle-Eyed Translations was born.
Why Eagle-Eyed?
Apart from my sharp-sighted ability to spot even the tiniest of errors, there is a personal story behind the brand. The name is derived from my surname Orlowski (of Polish origin), which roughly translates to “Eagle”.
About Emily
Your German to English translator and native English editor
I look back on several years as an in-house translator at the European Central Bank, where economics and finance were always top of the agenda, and a career in the commercial translation world, where I honed my ability to transform all types of text into flawless, idiomatic English content.
My credentials include a Master’s in Translation from the prestigious University of Bath, for which I was awarded a distinction, and qualified membership of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting.
Today, I oversee every Eagle-eyed translation and editing project and work with a carefully selected network of colleagues to ensure that your project is in safe, competent hands.
Our promise
Here at Eagle-Eyed Translations, we know how important your relationships with your customers, colleagues, partners and stakeholders are and how precious your time is. That’s why we offer to take the hassle out of the communication process for you and deliver clear, accurate and idiomatic English texts that are carefully crafted for your target audience.
